Petit Ciel 2016 Chardonnay
The objective was to make a wine with multiple layers of texture. The nose is intense with aromas of citrus and stone fruit. The palate offers multiple layers of texture and hints of oak spice. This is an elegant Chardonnay with slightly lighter body than the 2015. 100% barrel fermented in old American and Hungarian Oak. This wine was also made with Fish Tacos in mind! Pairs very well.

About
Petit Ciel means ‘little heaven’ in French. Their balloon logo is a tribute to the flying winemakers of the world, who are traveling in a quest to discover new cultures and winemaking techniques – a journey Leo began a long time ago. It also represents Leo’s desire to “fly the Petit Ciel Wine balloon” and make wine in Baja, Mexico and Priorat, as these are places that have captured his heart and imagination.
