Petit Ciel 2016 Summer Dreaming Pinot
A low intervention, easy drinking Spanish "clarete" style wine. Meant to be drunk slightly chilled, it is very fruity with notes of cherry, red plum, strawberry and raspberry. The texture is very smooth, and it has slight hints of spice coming from ageing on old oak. Nice acidity and low alcohol make it very easy to drink on warm summer nights, but also makes it very versatile when pairing it with food. Overall a dangerously easy to drink wine perfect for barbecues and afternoons at the beach.

About
Petit Ciel means ‘little heaven’ in French. Their balloon logo is a tribute to the flying winemakers of the world, who are traveling in a quest to discover new cultures and winemaking techniques – a journey Leo began a long time ago. It also represents Leo’s desire to “fly the Petit Ciel Wine balloon” and make wine in Baja, Mexico and Priorat, as these are places that have captured his heart and imagination.
