THIS POLICY CONFIRMS OUR COMMITMENT TO BEING

RESPONSIBLE SELLERS OF ALCOHOL THROUGH OUR REMOTE SALES OFF LICENCE

  • Customers will have to pass the age gate on entry to our website and again before the purchase of alcohol, to confirm they’re 18 and over

  • We are subscription-based business, and all customers must complete a registration form confirming their age

  • All products are despatched by a reputable courier company, typically NZ POST. All alcohol deliveries are undertaken with the policies and systems in place within the delivery company. This includes confirming ID upon delivery. Each box has a bright orange label stating alcohol is within the package and that no delivery to minors will occur.

  • We meet all the regulations under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 to comply with requirements

  • No delivery of alcohol will take place after 7pm or before 7am the next day

  • No alcohol sold will be delivered on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas day or before 1pm on Anzac Day

  • The remote sale of alcohol may be made at any time of any day

  • Our website displays a copy of our current liquor licence, the name of the licensee, the licence number, and the licence expiry date

  • Our receipts display a copy of our current liquor licence, the name of the licensee, the licence number, and the licence expiry date

  • Our premise is undesignated

  • We will not offer any promotion which:

    • Promotes the excessive consumption of alcohol

    • Appeals to minors (our website is targeted to those persons 25+ with disposable income and an interest in wines beyond social consumption)

    • Offers discount leading people to believe that alcohol is being sold for 25% discount or more

    • Offers any goods on the condition on which alcohol is sold/purchased, including free delivery

  • We will and do remain within the promotion rules under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
