“We brought the vineyard work to the next level with meticulous care; all vines are 2 canes pruned with canes growing on one year old wood, de-lateralised and one bunch per shoot with the shoulders removed. The grapes were hand harvested on a cool morning and settled on a cold temperature for 24 hours before the process started; 40% whole bunch and 60% destemmed, wild fermentation, maturation in barrel for 10 months and gentle filtration. 

TASTING NOTES 

Translucent mid cherry-red coloured, lighter at the rim, medium bodied. The nose exhibits aromas of forest floor, cherry and plum, a hint of spice and subtle herb/earthy notes. Ripe dark plum, cherries and red berry fill the palate, a refreshing acidity, silky tannins and a hint of oak spice all nicely integrated, layered and still youthful. A long and tasty dry finish.”
