About
The Elder Pinot is a testament to artisanal winemaking in Martinborough.
Established in 2010 by Nigel Elder, this family business has carved a niche for itself in the world of wine. Their philosophy revolves around crafting a limited quantity of single vineyard, estate-grown wines from the finest vintages.
Through close collaboration with dedicated growers, Nigel is steadfast in his commitment to crafting wines of excellence.
"Our philosophy is to produce a limited quantity of single vineyard, estate grown wines from only the best vintage. We produce wines of uncompromised quality, with an emphasis on the elegant, savoury characteristics and structure of great pinots." - Nigel
Nigel follows fully sustainable practices with an organic approach, nurturing the vines to bring out the best flavours from their environments, creating sophisticated wine for the true Pinot lovers.
Much like all the wines we showcase, you won’t find their wines in any New Zealand supermarket. Instead, their multiple five star award winning wines are found only in on-premise, fine dining restaurants and exported around the world.
Oh, but you will find The Elder Pinot in your Boutique Connection subscription, so need not worry!
