About
Aaron and Bec from Tettonica Wines on their ethos and winemaking style… “We want our fruit and wine to speak for itself, where possible we will always refrain from making additions to our wines. We believe that this 'hands off ' approach can result in wines with maximum flavour, purity and complexity. We also love to experiment with wines and styles, our Pét Nat is one example of what to expect from us. It's fairly different from other typical Pét Nats as it is more savoury and textural, creating a point of difference.
Away from our full-time jobs, Tettonica is the perfect outlet for us to express ourselves creatively through our winemaking. We love Marlborough and want to champion that. There is an interesting scene of small winemakers here who experiment with unique methods and styles that are not widespread throughout our region. We are excited to be a part of this movement, taking risks and pushing boundaries. We ultimately want to show that Marlborough can be more than just Sauvignon Blanc.

It is in Italian due to Aaron’s Sicilian heritage, he is half Italian and hails from three generations of winemakers.”
